Tesuque, New Mexico
This property is nestled in the bottom of the lush Tesuque valley. Because of this there are no views to the mountains beyond. Therefore the residence was designed as a series of outdoor gardens surrounded by individual rooms. Every room in this compound has its own private garden space.
The property consists of a caretaker’s residence, a guest house with studio and a main house. It is constructed of 2 foot thick adobe walls with smooth, hand troweled plaster and old beams salvaged from buildings in Northern New Mexico and Colorado.
